What we pack: powders, granules, whole pieces and non-food solids

What we pack

What you pack shapes how the line is specified.

The machine doesn’t care what’s in the hopper. It cares how the product behaves. A weigher configured for coffee beans will run cashews and M6 washers. If your product isn’t listed, it almost certainly falls into one of these four.

Which one applies

Start from how your product behaves, not what it’s called.

Fine or cohesive — may compact, bridge or generate dust
Powders →
Loose, similarly sized particles
Free-flowing granules →
Distinct pieces where fragility or breakage matters
Whole pieces →
Non-food, or pieces that nest, interlock or are counted by weight
Irregular & non-food solids →
Still not sure which applies

Powders

Protein, spices, milk powder, flour. Auger dosing, low target weights, dust containment, and hoppers that don’t bridge.
